Stonyhurst Heritage Centre Works Begin


RV Fire Systems has recently commenced fire alarm installation work at Stonyhurst Heritage Centre. We are working closely with JRB Environmental Design Ltd (M&E Consultants) on the design of the fire alarm system and providing installation and commissioning of a hard-wired Notifier fire system, C-TEC disabled refuge and toilet alarms, due to being the existing principal fire alarm contractor for the client Stonyhurst College. We are also supplying and commissioning three wireless bedside vibrating pad units onsite for rooms where anyone hard of hearing might be sleeping so that they can be alerted in the event of a fire.

St Andrews Medical Centre Refurbishment

St Andrews Medical Centre in Stalybridge is undergoing a major refurbishment of its first-floor facilities, and RV Fire Systems has been appointed to extend and upgrade the building’s fire protection. This project, led by Dr Narveshwar Sinha, focuses on enhancing patient safety and staff protection by expanding the existing analogue addressable fire alarm system. The St Andrews Medical Centre refurbishment marks a significant investment in modern fire detection technology, ensuring reliable early warning and rapid notification in a busy healthcare environment.

New Notifier Fire Alarm System At New Theatre On The Lake Cafe

R V Fire Systems were asked to supply, install, commission a new fire alarm system for the new Garden Tea Pavilion at Keswick’s Theatre on the Lake.  A Notifier Analogue fire alarm system was chosen for the project, comprising of the Notifier ID60 Flush mounted fire alarm panel and corresponding smoke and heat detectors, call points, sounders and beacons were installed throughout the new facility.

The Notifier ID60 one loop, intelligent panel was chosen for the fire alarm system, due to its ease of use for the pavilion users, whilst providing a technically advanced range of facilities and functions capable of monitoring up to 99 devices. R V Fire Systems are an appointed distributor of Notifier products, using them in several fire alarm systems due to the advanced technological nature of the products whilst still remaining easy to install and use.
